Isn't the way all story starts....so here it is.

November 21st, Christmas is around the corner, Eve is sitting by herself Once upon a time.... Sims3_10and she is thinking that there is not much time left to prepare Christmas. She wants it to be a special Christmas for the whole family. From the little one who was born a few weeks ago to the grand parents who are getting older year after years.......Thinking out loud here is the first thing to do........

is make a list and listen to what the family is saying about their wants for christmas. Eve knows that there will be cookies to make... She stops and remembers helping grand mama with the baking, And She knows Gram will be baking again this year too. Well what's next so much to do...

Shall we have the grabbag again this year? Should dinner be potluck where everyone brings a dish? Will Aunt Nelly make her horrible Plum Pudding? Will Cousin Ginnie bring her yummy potato salad? What games should we play to entertain the children? Will Uncle Bill drink too much punch and fall into the Christmas tree like he did last year?

I better start working on my Christmas card list and remember to buy stamps.

boy am I glad I got to the post office; early even so I was in line 30 min. and had to listen to the lady in front complain about how she hates the holiday. Oh Well!! Back at home cousin Ginnie calls and askes if we are doing pot luck, I don't what do you think I ask. Ginnie says we should do pot luck it's to much for just 1 person. But what about Aunt Nelly's pudding I ask? Ginnie laughs and says we'll feed to Uncle Bill to sober him up. We end our giggle fest and I get to work on the Christmas cards, and after that I'll start calling the Family to let them know it's a potluck Christmas...

After her ordeal at the post office Eve decides to head over to Dress Barn and see if she can find a new Christmas outfit. She is wise enough not to shop on Black Friday. She goes on the following Monday and to her dismay she finds nothing that looks good or fits. Thanksgiving dinner was days ago, but leftover turkey and stuffing and apple pie indulging during the long weekend has left taken it's toll. Eve feels like she's gained 50 pounds in a matter of days.

Maybe shopping for gifts and decorating & cleaning the house will provide some well needed calorie burning activity and she can shed a few pounds and try Lane Bryant in a week or so.
